The apartment is in the heart of the historic center of Florence, in a Renaissance building, a few steps from Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria and the main museums.
The apartment is located on the fourth floor of the building (without lift) with wide, comfortable and monumental stairs, considered of historical interest by the Italian Fine Arts office. The project was carried out by Giorgio Vasari, the very famous architect who designed the Uffizi Museum).
The accommodation has many advantages: the external space of the large terrace to be enjoyed all day from breakfast to the evening aperitif, the functional and welcoming environment, the light and the neighborhood full of history.
The apartment keeps some typical Florentine style of the interiors mixed with a modern touch: living room with dining area, kitchen, corner with Tv and sofa-bed for 2 people. Wide comfortable master bedroom, 2 bathrooms. Ideal for couples to enjoy the real City. The apartment is provided with air conditioning system (hot and cold), Wifi connection, TV. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Moka machine, fridge and freezer, plenty of pans, dishes, glasses, cutlery and utensils and a microwave oven. Ample hanging space and lots of hangers. Also available iron and iron board.
The whole apartment will be at your full disposal. Ideal for couple to enjoy the comfort and living in the core atmosphere of Florence, just stepping out or just relaxing on the cozy terrace.
Some suggestions about waste:
the cardboard materials can be left in the morning, before 9 a.m., next to the entrance door of the building.
The other waste must be deposited in the ecological islands that are located in some streets of the historic center: the map of the ecological islands is posted inside the entrance door of the building. The closest ecological island is in piazza Davanzati.
Location is one of the quality of our apartment: it’s nestled in the core of the historic center of the City, indeed central to the major monuments area and attractions. Step out of home: wherever you walk, you will meet historic treasures: Piazza Signoria and The Uffizi Museum, Ponte Vecchio and Via Tornabuoni (the street of the shopping with all most celebrated Italian brands) are just a few meters ahead. Walk a bit more and you can decide if to reach the majestic Duomo, S.Lorenzo or the Academy Museum (where the original David of Michelangelo is preserved) or to cross the Ponte Vecchio and enjoy the Oltrarno area with Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Garden and the other places, such as S.Niccolò and Santo Spirito with their amazing churches and museums. All this is into an area of a few hundred square meters and… our apartment is into it.
If you are wandering the streets of Florence, between Piazza della Repubblica and Ponte Vecchio and you want to take a break from shops, ice cream parlors, pizzerias and tourists, take the small street “Borgo Santi Apostoli”: a breath of fresh air and a little silence await you in the heart of the city. This ancient alley and the homonymous church summarize the history of Florence in a few square meters: from the foundation by the Romans to Charle Magne, from the Crusades to the age of the Guelphs and Ghibellines, from Dante to the Renaissance. This small village was born in the 6th century after Christ, as a natural suburb, just outside the first walls of Florence.
Excellent logistic: the Railway Station is less than 1 km walking distance. So close it is also Piazza Santa Maria Novella, where there is the T2 line of the Tram that goes directly to the airport. Easy and comfortable!
So, you can save money! No need of taxi’s additional expenses, both if you arrive by Train at the main Railway Station or if you land at Florence Airport.
If you come by car, no issues: there are some good garages close to the apartment!
We will be glad to help you for anything you may need.
